Biography

Tobby-Eniola is a skilled, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sports Therapist who loves being active. Her career journey began at the University of Hertfordshire, where she studied Sport and Exercise sciences; developing her understanding in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology and nutrition.

Her caring nature directed her towards becoming a teacher, however, after sustaining a major injury playing football towards the end of 2019, she had to rehabilitate herself during the 2020 Lockdown.

After months of research and perseverance, she was back to full health, playing football and basketball at a highly competitive level. This rehabilitation journey peaked Tobby’s interest in pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Therapy at London Metropolitan University.

With familiarity from her previous degree, she was able to excel during the Master’s course whilst also gaining over 200 hours of work experience.

Some of her experience involved pre/post-match therapy for basketball teams, post-event treatment at the London Marathon and Triathlon and working at her University’s Sports Clinic which was open to the public. Not forgetting her passion for teaching, Tobby Coaches a youth basketball team and has been dedicated to this for 6 years running.

Prior to joining London Back Pain Clinic, Tobby worked with a Reformer Pilates company, combining teaching classes and seeing clients on a 1-1 basis regarding: injury prevention, strengthening, flexibility, mobility, rehabilitation, exercise technique correction, massaging, K-taping and sport specific training.

Tobby is non-stop broadening her knowledge, staying updated and aware of new aspects that could benefit clients now and long term. Making each treatment bespoke and helping the body to achieve the goal that the mind desires.
